Cappitech is a fintech company that specialises in transaction reporting. As rules became stricter and compliance became more expensive, they needed a system that did more than just tick boxes - it had to be useful for the business, too.

THE SOLUTION

Instead of building another back-office tool, we borrowed ideas from customer-facing platforms. The result was a clean, easy-to-use dashboard that gave users one place to track reports and monitor regulations. It made it simpler to understand trade risks and compare market spreads.

We hosted the platform on the cloud to make it flexible for on-site needs. It handled high volumes of trades and included strong security features. We also built an interactive tool so users could spot and manage trading risks on their own.

I joined the team in the second phase, helping expand the product as the company grew. My main focus was the ‘Insight’ section. It gave users a way to compare their trade performance with the market. I also helped design a grading system that set a new standard for tracking both compliance and performance.

IMPACT & RECOGNITION

The dashboard helped Cappitech stand out. It played a key role in the company being named one of the top 100 RegTech firms.
